Actor Justin Baldoni discreetly offloaded his former Los Angeles home months after relocating to Nashville, TN, for a “fresh start.”

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom Culver City abode went for $2.1 million in an off-market transaction in August, according to Page Six. The 1,992-square-foot house was built in 1952 and sits on a 5,736-square-foot lot.

“He hasn’t lived there in years,” a People magazine source said. “The family has been living in Nashville for a bit now, but they moved to Ojai before that.”

The “It Ends With Us” director and his wife, Emily Baldoni, reportedly bought the home in 2017.

In an October 2020 People magazine interview, the couple opened up about life in the “urban farmhouse.”

The Baldonis said they invited loved ones to visit the home to write prayers and affirmations on its exposed wooden beams after completing a nine-month renovation.

“In the beams of the house is literally love,” Justin said.

The home had a host of interesting features, including a climbing wall in the garage for their children, Maiya and Maxwell.

There was also a built-in Wolf coffee machine and a top-of-the line Kohler toilet the actor compared to a “Transformer.”

While Emily shared that the plumbing feature “takes care of everything,” Justin noted that the family “didn’t panic as much as some others when all the toilet paper disappeared.”

The sale of the Los Angeles property isn’t the only quiet real estate move Justin, 42, has made this year.

Property records indicate that he listed his sprawling Ojai, CA, compound for $8.88 million on Feb. 5. The listing came just days after a rental listing for the same property—which was asking $40,000 a month—was taken down.

The estate, which the couple purchased for $2.2 million in 2020, has since been taken off the market.

The five-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom dwelling on a 10-acre lot in the picturesque neighborhood of Santa Paula was described by Emily as a “magical place” in a 2023 Architectural Digest interview.

Inspired by their trips abroad, the couple went to lengths to design “the whole house with feng shui in mind,” a practice inspired by his mother, “who’s done it for 30 years.”

“When we went to Tulum and parts of Mexico, we would take pictures of lamps or couches—just as inspiration—and then we started to put together a Pinterest board of things that we liked,” he said.

The couple made a series of upgrades to the home to create a “sanctuary.” According to the since-removed listing, the home was outfitted with “a state-of-the-art medical-grade air filtration system,” electromagnetic frequency shielding around the primary bedroom, a saltwater pool, and a “regenerative orchard.”

It also included a hot tub, sport court, custom-designed gym, LED-lit in-ground trampoline, koi pond with waterfall, fire pit, and walking paths.

Additional technological amenities included EV charging stations, a state-of-the-art security system, and fire mitigation systems.

The family packed their bags for Tennessee in December 2025, amid the highly publicized legal drama Justin was involved in after actress Blake Lively sued in 2024, claiming he had sexually harassed her during the filming of “It Ends with Us.”

“It’s obviously been an incredibly difficult time for the whole family, but Nashville has given them a fresh start,” a People magazine source previously shared.

After denying the allegations, Justin filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, her publicist Leslie Sloane, and Sloane’s PR firm, citing defamation and breach of contract.

The suit was later dismissed by a judge, as were Lively’s sexual harassment claims. The actress later pursued allegations of retaliation against Justin, as well as his production company and publicity team.

Justin and Lively reached a private settlement days before the case was due to go to trial in May 2026.

However, the dispute continued when Lively sought $8 million in legal fees from Justin. She was awarded a total of $407,451.75 in an Aug. 26 order.

In July, when the dispute was still ongoing, the Baldonis posted an Instagram Reel to address the situation for the first time.

“We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years, and it’s not because we haven’t had anything to say,” Justin said. “It just felt like every time we went to make a video like this, we wanted to speak, something was telling us not to. It just didn’t feel like the right time, and we were talking about it and feeling into it and praying about it.”

While Justin kept his statement fairly vague and never named Lively, the couple did share that they had experienced a lot of “trauma.”

"What I will say is that there have been so many painful things that have been spoken into existence over the last couple of years,” he said. “That created so much noise, and we didn’t want to add to the noise. So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course."

The couple noted that they had “so much more to say,” but that they were “going to focus on continuing the healing” and “hanging out” with their “kiddos and enjoying life.”

According to the New York Post, the family’s new Nashville home is a $3.4 million newly built abode. The six-bedroom, six-bathroom property spans 7,000 square feet and is situated on an acre lot.
